Two generations on one plan, neither marked
A single membership reaches the current models and a previous generation listed as a plan benefit. That is the shape of a migration path without any statement describing one: nobody has said the older line will be there next quarter, and nobody has said the newer is what it becomes. 1A benefit list does the work of a policy, badly
Bundling both generations has the same effect as a transition policy: work already started on the older model keeps running. The difference is that a policy survives a product decision and a benefit list is edited by whoever maintains the page.
That is why this cell stays empty. The arrangement is real and useful today, and there is nothing in it a production could point at in three months if the row disappeared.
2Current is a marketing word, not a state
The newer models are promoted as current, which reads like a lifecycle label and is not one. No page here says what current stops being, or what happens to the previous generation when a third arrives.
The register keeps published states in the lifecycle states column, and this entry has none. Promotion order on a plan page tells a reader what the seller wants sold, not what it intends to keep.
3What a production should take from the bundle
Treat it as a reason to finish the current block rather than as a reason to relax. The older generation is reachable now, which makes this a good moment to decide whether the next block starts on it or on the newer pair.
Deciding while both are purchasable is cheap. Deciding after one has gone is a migration, and the register has no date to tell anybody when that moment arrives.
