Two applications useful in opposite ways

Neither of these entries publishes a notice period, and both are unusually useful anyway. One writes the replacement risk into its own pricing page, which removes an assumption a reader would otherwise keep. The other names a model and version beside every rate, which makes a change provable afterwards. As of 2026-09-22.

1Warning, detection and honesty are three products

Neither entry gives warning. One gives honesty: a sentence saying the swap can happen and nothing is guaranteed. The other gives detection: enough specificity that two dated readings settle whether a swap occurred.

A production would rather have warning than either. Given the choice between these two, the answer depends on whether the team keeps records, because detection is worthless to somebody who never reads the page twice.

2Both miss the silent update

A model can be updated in place, keeping its name and changing its behaviour. The clause explicitly permits it and the named tier would not reveal it, so neither arrangement catches the most common form of drift.

What catches that is a fixed test set, which is a production's own work rather than anything a page can provide. The recovery page sets out the order that avoids repeating it.

3One keeps a previous generation purchasable

One entry lists two house generations, which gives a project already running somewhere to stand. The other lists five current tiers with no earlier line, so a change to any of them has no fallback.

Neither says how long that remains true. The succession reading covers why a second line on a price list is a fact about this month rather than a commitment.
