invideo AI (invideo.io) aggregates video models from six vendors. Its published model list still names Sora 2, whose API OpenAI has said is discontinued on 24 September 2026. As of 2026-09-12.

2An aggregated menu inherits every vendor's calendar
An app that carries one house model has one retirement schedule to manage. An app that carries six vendors' models has six, and none of them are its own. That is the structural point this entry exists to make, and the Sora line is the current illustration of it rather than a criticism of the app.
The published list names Sora 2 today. OpenAI's help centre states the Sora API is discontinued on 24 September 2026. Both statements are current, both come from the vendor that made them, and this register records them side by side without resolving the tension, because resolving it would mean guessing what the app will do.
3What a reader should take from it
Not that the app is careless. Model menus are marketing pages and they lag; the useful habit is to check the model you depend on against the vendor that makes it, rather than against the app that resells it. That is the whole reason this site keeps a model page and an app page separately and links them to each other.
No notice period is published here either, and no statement covers what happens to projects built on a model that leaves the menu. Where a period does exist it is published one layer down, by whoever hosts the model: Amazon Bedrock states one in months and applies it to every model it resells.
