Which models Runway carries

Runway (runway.com) sells credits rather than seconds, and converts them on the pricing page itself: so many seconds of Gen-4.5, so many of Gen-4 Turbo. The conversion table is a model list nobody set out to publish. As of 2026-09-12.

Inclusion rule. Models the app names on its own public pages. A model the app does not name is not listed, and an end date is recorded only when the vendor that makes the model has announced one. Order. As the app orders them on its own page.

2A credit conversion table is a model list by accident

The page exists to explain what a plan buys, and the only honest way to explain credits is to say how far they go on each model. That forces the names into print: the house video line, the editing model, the licensed entries, and separately the image models with their own conversion rates. A buyer comparing plans reads it as arithmetic. This register reads it as disclosure.

The arithmetic also reveals which model the vendor expects to be expensive, because a credit buys fewer seconds of it. That is a commercial signal rather than a lifecycle one, and it is not recorded here, but it is the reason the table is unlikely to disappear: remove the model names and the credit becomes an unexplainable unit.

3Licensed lines sit beside house lines with no visible difference

Nothing on the page separates what this company made from what it resells. The licensed entries are presented in the same type, in the same list, with the same per-second conversion, and a reader has to already know which maker each name belongs to. That matters because the two halves fail differently: a house model goes when this vendor decides, a licensed one goes when somebody else does.

The same arrangement appears at Luma, which puts its own generations and half a dozen licensed entries on one plan table. Neither page carries a sentence about what happens when a licensed line is withdrawn, and neither states how much warning a subscriber would get.

4Read column by column
